.Diabetes: Natural Treatment

Effective Natural Treatment.

Diabetes occurs when the body does not produce insulin, a hormone that is needed to convert sugar, starches and other food into energy for daily life requirements. It is still a mystery the cause of diabetes although genetically and environmentally influence such as not enough exercise and obesity play a role.

To understand diabetes, it is good to learn something about pancreas, the long and thin situated behind our stomach. Pancreas is responsible for regulating the body’s use of glucose. It has two main functions: firstly to produce pancreatic endocrine hormones which assist in regulating our metabolism and secondly to produce pancreatic digestive enzymes.
When the blood glucose levels begin to rise, it is insulin’s job to push muscle and fat cells to absorb whatever glucose they need for future activities whereas any surplus will store by the liver. There are some individuals either do not produce enough insulin (Type 1 diabetes) or their body resists whatever insulin is produced (Type 2 diabetes), thus an outside source production is necessary.

Either way, the result is the same. Type 1 or also know as juvenile-onset diabetes, typically affects children and young adults and is genetically-linked. Type 2 which also known as adult-onset diabetes occurs in adults and is linked to obesity. Symptoms of both types include blurred vision, fatigue, frequent, bladder infections, increased appetite, increased thirst, increased urination, nausea, skin infections, vaginitis and vomiting. If not treated, diabetes type 1 and 2, can cause blood vessel damage, gangrene, heart attack, kidney damage, nerve damage, stork and vision problems.

How Glucosium Can Help: Glucosium is a popular diabetes treatment of natural ingredients which can help control blood sugar, stimulate your body’s insulin production, limit nerve damage and much more. This revolutionary supplement has shown amazing benefits for people with diabetes, as well as preventative properties for those who are exposed to a higher risk for diabetes. Last advice: do exercise, eat right and supplement your body with the proper nutrients that help your body to produce the insulin it was supposed to have.

The Jedi Angel-Seraphina

 Seraphina, the Jedi Angel

In a distant galaxy where celestial realms and cosmic forces intertwined, there existed an extraordinary being named Seraphina. She was not your typical angel with feathery wings and a halo; instead, her wings shimmered like stardust, and her eyes held the secrets of galaxies yet to be discovered.

Seraphina was a Jedi Knight, trained in the ancient ways of the Force. Her ethereal presence masked her true power, and she moved silently through the universe, balancing her celestial duties with her Jedi responsibilities.

Her mission was clear: to protect the fragile balance between light and darkness. The cosmic currents whispered of an impending cataclysm—a rift that threatened to tear apart the very fabric of existence. Only a chosen one could bridge this gap and restore harmony.

One fateful day, as she meditated atop a crystalline asteroid, a holographic projection appeared before her. It was Master Yoda, the venerable Jedi Grand Master. His wrinkled face bore the weight of eons, and his voice echoed across the cosmos.

“Seraphina,” he intoned, “you are the last hope. The prophecy speaks of an angelic warrior who will wield both blade and wing. You must journey to the forbidden planet of Nebula Prime, where the rift awaits.”

With resolve burning in her celestial heart, Seraphina set forth. Her wings carried her through nebulous storms and asteroid fields, and her lightsaber hummed at her side. Along the way, she encountered cosmic pirates, rogue droids, and star-bound sorcerers—all testing her mettle.

On Nebula Prime, she found a desolate landscape—a fractured world where light and shadow battled for supremacy. The rift pulsed at the planet’s core, threatening to consume everything. As she descended into the abyss, her wings glowed with celestial fire.

There, she faced her nemesis: Lord Malachar, a fallen angel who had succumbed to the allure of the dark side. His wings were tattered, and his eyes blazed with malevolence. He wielded a crimson lightsaber, its blade fueled by cosmic rage.

“Seraphina,” Lord Malachar sneered, “you dare interfere? This rift is my gateway to ultimate power!”

Their clash echoed across the astral plains. Seraphina danced on the precipice of light and darkness, her wings deflecting blaster bolts and her lightsaber carving arcs of brilliance. She whispered forgotten prayers, channeling both the Force and her celestial essence.

As the rift trembled, Seraphina glimpsed its truth: it was a cosmic wound, a scar left by ancient gods who battled eons ago. To mend it, she needed more than her Jedi training; she needed her angelic heritage.

With a cry that resonated through galaxies, she spread her wings wide. Their luminescence intensified, and she soared toward the rift. The celestial energies surged, knitting the fabric of reality. Lord Malachar howled, but she held firm.

In that moment, Seraphina became more than an angel or a Jedi. She was a bridge—a living conduit between realms. The rift sealed, and the cosmic forces harmonized. Nebula Prime blossomed with new life, and the stars themselves sang her praises.

Master Yoda appeared once more, his hologram flickering. “Balance restored, young one,” he said. “You are the cosmic equilibrium—the angelic Jedi.”

And so, Seraphina continued her celestial odyssey, her wings carrying her to distant constellations, her lightsaber blazing like a comet’s tail. She was the legend whispered among stars—the angel who danced with galaxies and wielded the Force.

And in the quiet of cosmic nights, her name echoed: Seraphina, the Jedi Angel.

The Sepia Jedi

 The Sepia Jedi

The desert wind whipped around Serra, a Jedi Master cloaked in the twilight hues of time. Her skin, etched with the wisdom of centuries, bore the same sepia tint as her world – a forgotten desert moon orbiting a dying star. Once, the Force bloomed here, but the Empire, in its relentless purge, had choked the life out of it. Now, only echoes remained, whispers on the wind.

But Serra wasn't here for memories. A flicker in the Force, a dying plea, had drawn her out of hiding. The Empire was back, a Star Destroyer looming like a metallic scar on the ochre sky. Below, a hidden rebel base, a fragile spark of resistance, was about to be snuffed out.

Serra ignited her lightsaber, its emerald blade a defiant splash of color in the sepia world. Time had dimmed her connection to the Force, but her resolve was steel. She wouldn't let the embers of rebellion die.

The landing platform swarmed with Stormtroopers, their white armor stark against the desolate landscape. Serra became a whirlwind, her movements a blur of sepia and emerald. Her lightsaber sang, a mournful counterpoint to the blaster fire. Each fallen trooper felt like a year lost, a reminder of the Jedi's dwindling light.

Reaching the command center, Serra found a young woman, barely out of her teens, facing down a hologram of Darth Vader. Fear radiated from the girl, but her chin remained stubbornly high.

"There is no escape," Vader boomed, his voice a chilling echo.

Serra stepped into the holographic projection, her emerald blade flashing defiance. Vader's mechanical rasp turned to surprise. "A Sepia Jedi? A relic from a bygone era."

Serra's voice, raspy with age but unwavering, filled the room. "The Force never truly fades, Lord Vader. It merely waits."

The duel was a clash of eras. Vader, a whirlwind of mechanical might, fueled by the dark side. Serra, a storm of serenity, her lightsaber a flickering beacon of the light. The command center shuddered with the clash of energies.

Despite her skill, Serra was outmatched. The weight of years pressed down on her, and Vader sensed her weakening resolve. "This is futile, Jedi. Join the darkness. Embrace the power it offers."

Serra stumbled, the echo of Order 66, the betrayal of the Jedi, flashing in her mind. But then, the young woman stepped forward, her fear replaced by newfound determination.

"You won't win here, Sith!" she cried, raising a blaster pistol. The Force surged around her, raw and untrained, but potent nonetheless.

Seizing the opportunity, Serra unleashed a final surge of power, pushing Vader back. The command center went dark, the hologram flickering out. The young woman, her blaster smoking, stared at Serra in awe.

"Who are you?" she whispered.

Serra smiled, a flicker of her old fire returning to her eyes. "I am a Jedi, child. And we never truly die."

With those words, Serra slumped, the years catching up with her at last. The young woman rushed to her side, tears welling in her eyes. But as Serra closed her eyes, a sense of peace settled over her. The Force, she felt, was stirring  once again on the forgotten moon, a flicker of rebellion rekindled. The Sepia Jedi might be gone, but the fight, it seemed, would continue.

"Who's the Boss?" 10 ways to start taking Control

 Anchor2Health

"Who's the Boss?" 10 ways to start taking control of your life

At first glance, it would seem that positive thinking and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) have nothing to do with one another. But many of us with ADD develop negative thinking patterns because we become frustrated by our challenges and frequent feelings of being overwhelmed. This negative outlook then makes it even harder for us to manage those challenges and move forward.

Practicing positive thinking allows people with ADD to focus on our strengths and accomplishments, which increases happiness and motivation. This, in turn, allows us to spend more time making progress, and less time feeling down and stuck. The following tips provide practical suggestions that you can use to help you shift into more positive thinking patterns:

1. Take Good Care of Yourself
It's much easier to be positive when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest.

2. Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful For
Stresses and challenges don't seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.

3. Look for the Proof Instead of Making Assumptions
A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member's bad mood is due to something you did, or that your co-workers are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back, speak up and ask them. Don't waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

4. Refrain from Using Absolutes
Have you ever told a partner "You're ALWAYS late!" or complained to a friend "You NEVER call me!"? Thinking and speaking in absolutes like 'always' and 'never' makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.

5. Detach From Negative Thoughts

Your thoughts can't hold any power over you if you don't judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don't follow it.

6. Squash the "ANTs"
In his book "Change Your Brain, Change Your Life," Dr. Daniel Amen talks about "ANTs" - Automatic Negative Thoughts. These are the bad thoughts that are usually reactionary, like "Those people are laughing, they must be talking about me," or "The boss wants to see me? It must be bad!" When you notice these thoughts, realize that they are nothing more than ANTs and squash them!

7. Practice Lovin', Touchin' & Squeezin' (Your Friends and Family)
You don't have to be an expert to know the benefits of a good hug. Positive physical contact with friends, loved ones, and even pets, is an instant pick-me-up. One research study on this subject had a waitress touch some of her customers on the arm as she handed them their checks. She received higher tips from these customers than from the ones she didn't touch!

8. Increase Your Social Activity
By increasing social activity, you decrease loneliness. Surround yourself with healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect you in a positive way!

9. Volunteer for an Organization, or Help another Person
Everyone feels good after helping. You can volunteer your time, your money, or your resources. The more positive energy you put out into the world, the more you will receive in return.

10. Use Pattern Interrupts to Combat Rumination
If you find yourself ruminating, a great way to stop it is to interrupt the pattern and force yourself to do something completely different. Rumination is like hyper-focus on something negative. It's never productive, because it's not rational or solution-oriented, it's just excessive worry. Try changing your physical environment - go for a walk or sit outside. You could also call a friend, pick up a book, or turn on some music.

When it comes to the corporate world, protocol is pretty much the religion. To know the things needed to do are the basics of productivity, but interaction and having a steady mind makes up the entire thing to true productivity.

There are those who seem to work well even under pressure, but they're uncommon ones and we are human and imperfect. To get these little things like stress under our skins won't solve our problems. Sometimes it takes a bit of courage to admit that we're turning to be workaholics than tell ourselves that we're not doing our best.

The Sepia Order Jedi

In the Star Wars universe, there are several Jedi orders and factions that have been mentioned across various media. Here are a few:

The Prime Jedi: The founders of the Jedi Order on Ahch-To, they emerged from the Dai Bendu, a religious order that invented the Holocron1.

The New Jedi Order: Established by Luke Skywalker, this order aimed to rebuild the Jedi legacy after the fall of the Galactic Empire2.

Jedi Consulars, Jedi Guardians, and Jedi Sentinels: These are more like professions within the Jedi ranks rather than separate orders. Consulars focus on diplomacy and the study of the Force, Guardians are more combat-oriented, and Sentinels balance between the two and often specialize in areas such as intelligence gathering3.
These orders and roles reflect the diversity and evolution of the Jedi throughout the Star Wars saga.

In the heart of the Sepia Order, there was a Jedi whose name was whispered with reverence and awe: Master Elara. She was known not only for her prowess in battle but also for her unparalleled ability to connect with the Force through the echoes of history.

Master Elara’s tale begins on the ancient planet of Caelum, where the ruins of civilizations long past held secrets waiting to be uncovered. It was here that the Empire sought to excavate ancient artifacts, caring little for the sanctity of the past.

As the Empire’s machines tore through the sacred ground, Master Elara stood firm, her sepia-toned robes fluttering in the wind. With her lightsaber in hand, she called upon the memories of the planet’s former guardians, invoking their strength and wisdom.

The spirits of Caelum’s ancestors heeded her call, their ethereal forms joining her in a silent battalion. Together, they faced the encroaching darkness, their combined might a testament to the enduring power of legacy.

The battle was fierce, but Master Elara’s connection to the past proved to be the Empire’s undoing. With each strike, she channeled centuries of resilience, her blade a conduit for the voices of a thousand generations.
As the tide turned, the Empire’s forces retreated, their ambition thwarted by the indomitable spirit of one woman and the history she bore. Master Elara’s victory was more than a mere battle won; it was a declaration that the past would always be a light guiding the future.

And so, the legend of Master Elara, the female Sepia Jedi, grew. Her story became a beacon of inspiration, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, the strength of our ancestors lives on within us.

I hope you find the story of Master Elara as inspiring as the legacy she protected.

Diabetic: Foods to Avoid

Hi readers, Shawn here to give advice on foods to avoid, control diabetes.

Health Molder
Fats

The excessive use of fats has been linked to development of diabetes. A recent study at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, USA found that intake of an extra 40g of fat day increases the chances of developing diabetes by three times. Fat rich diet, especially one saturated with animal fat, seems to damage the insulin’s effectiveness. Research at the University of Sydney in Australia measured the saturated fatty acids in the muscles cells of older non-diabetic men and the women undergoing surgery and found that higher the presence of saturated fatty acids in the cells, the greater the insulin resistance. On the other hand, higher tissue levels of polyunsaturated fats, particularly fish oil, indicated better insulin activity and lower resistance. Fish oil differs from animal fats in that fish oil contains polyunsaturated fatty acids. One of the fatty acids called omega-3 is especially good for the heart—it lowers cholesterol and protects from atherosclerosis. In fact, the researchers also reported that intake of omega-3 fish oil to the subjects effectively overcame their insulin resistance.

In another study, Jennifer Lovejoy, assistance professor at Louisiana State of University, USA, studied and the eating habits and insulin activity among 45 non-diabetic men and women. About half of them were obese and the remaining half of normal weight. In both cases, higher fat consumption increased insulin resistance. This indicates, says Dr. Lovejoy, that even normal individuals who decrease their insulin efficiency and boost their vulnerability to diabetes.

Meat and Meat Foods
One of the most important nutrition guidelines to follow is to “eat less saturated fat.” A quick and simple way to do that is to eliminate meat products. They are high both in saturated fat and cholesterol content. People with diabetes have a greater risk of heart disease earlier in life. The practically useless calories added by saturated fats contribute to above normal body weight and obesity, putting a diabetic at greater of heart disease.

Flesh foods are extremely harmful for diabetes. They increase the toxemic condition underlying the diabetic state and reduce the sugar tolerance. Most diseases of the human body are caused by autointoxication of self-poisoning. The flesh of animals increases the burden on the organs of elimination and overloads and system with animal waste matter and poisons. Chemical analysis has shown that uric acid and other uric poisons contained in the animal body are almost identical to caffeine and nicotine, the poisonous, stimulating principles of coffee, tea and tobacco.

The renowned journal Lancet, reports that a patient of diabetes must be persuaded to consume less animal foods. However, in cold countries where meat and mat products constitute the bulk of the diet, patients of diabetes should limit their intake of animal products to eggs and white meal like fish and poultry. Even their use of should be kept to the minimum; all red meat and red meat products should be eliminated from the diet.

Carbohydrate Counting Diet

                                       Carbohydrate Diet

TO GET the maximum benefits from stretching to minimize the loss of  flexibility caused by aging and accelerated by diabetes, include  stretching exercises into your new, healthier lifestyle a minimum of two  or three days per week. This will also help you maximize your strength  gains from any concurrent resistance exercises you may be doing.

Exercising with diabetic or other health limitations

Is your health your main excuse for not being more physically active?  Whether your biggest health complaint is high blood pressure, loss of  feeling in your feet, or arthritic knees, it’s time to change your way  of thinking. There is mounting evidence that older individuals with  chronic health problems respond just as well to exercise training as  their younger counterparts, yet many older people still choose not to be  physically active. While it’s true that 85 percent of people over the  age of sixty-five have a health problem that they may view as a  deterrent to exercise, diabetes should definitely not be among them, and  neither should almost all of the others.

Although most everyone can exercise safely and effectively, diabetes  does bring additional risks, as discussed in the preceding step.  However, you can still exercise to your potential—as long as you respect  your limitations. To stay safe and get the most out of your activities,  follow the exercise guidelines published by the ADA. The remainder of  this section will address how you can overcome other common health  concerns, allowing you to be as physically active as possible.

Cardiovascular disease

.  If you have diabetes or prediabetes, you may also have cardiovascular  disease. Remember that about a third of all people with diabetes are not  even aware of having it; sadly, many of them first learn of their  condition while in the hospital after suffering their first heart  attack, stroke, or other cardiovascular event. Does having heart disease  mean that exercise is not for you? Absolutely not. Resistance training  is now recommended for everyone, even people with known cardiovascular  disease who have had a heart attack or stroke.

Diabetic people in supervised cardiac-rehabilitation exercise programs  engage in various forms of exercise, and you may choose to join such a  program if you know you have cardiovascular disease; you may also prefer  to exercise on your own. It’s important to know that you’re more likely  to experience

angina

(chest pain) due to reduced blood flow to your heart muscle

(ischemia)

during  an aerobic activity like treadmill walking than during weight training.  Studies have shown that lifting a heavy weight ten to twelve times may  increase your blood pressure more than aerobic work, but it doesn’t  raise your heart rate as much. Ironically the higher blood pressures  reached during resistance training ensure that your heart muscle gets  more blood than it would during aerobic activities. If you know that you  have some coronary artery blockage from plaque buildup, moderate weight  training may actually be a safer activity for you than most  high-intensity aerobic ones.

If you prefer aerobic activities or if you do both types, use pain as  your guide. In general, if reaching a certain heart rate (in number of  beats per minute, or bpm) causes you to develop chest pain during  exercise, always exercise at an intensity that keeps your rate at least  10 bpm below that pain threshold. For example, if slow jogging causes  you to feel angina at a heart rate of 140 bpm, then lower your exercise  intensity by walking briskly instead, to keep your heart rate at 130 bpm  or below at all times. In addition, be aware that a heart attack may  have symptoms other than pain localized in your chest, such as pain that  radiates down one arm or shoulder or your neck or that feels like bad  heartburn. If you experience any unusual pain or other symptoms during  or following exercise, get checked out by your doctor as soon as  possible.

Diabetes can also potentially cause you to experience silent ischemia,  a reduction in blood flow to the heart muscle through the coronary  blood vessels that is painless and symptom-free. If you experience a  sudden, unexplained change in your ability to exercise, without any  other symptoms, immediately stop exercising and consult with your  physician as soon as you can to rule out silent ischemia.
